    Will Mid-Atlantic Housing Market Defy Expectations?
     
    A survey of realtors by Bright MLS in April showed these key findings: Despite higher mortgage rates, decisions to buy or sell were NOT being driven by rates. Only about a quarter of buyers (23.9%) took mortgage rates into consideration when deciding to buy Repeat buyers were way less likely to factor mortgage rates into their buying decision (17.4%) than first-time buyers (31.4%). Very interesting info! It supports our stance that now is NOT the time to sit on the sidelines.
