Al knew this mixed-use building on a bustling section of Chestnut Street would be very sought after if he put in the sweat equity to rehab and upgrade it. The configuration of the building was a commercial space on the first floor, three 1 bed/1 bath apartments, and one 2 bed/1 bath apartment. Al took the building down to the studs, and installed new drywall, electric, plumbing, heating, and flooring.
